What about anaesthetic?

You have the option of anaesthetic on any piercing below the neck.
We do not use any form of anaesthetic from the neck up.
We only use cream anaesthetic.
If anaesthetic cream is used, you will have very little feeling in that area.
The effects slowly wear off over 10-15 minutes.
The local anaesthetic we use is designed to make you feel at ease during the piercing process.

We are a cash only business. There is a cash machine directly across the road from the studio.

Is there anything I need to know before my appointment?

Yes, here are some useful pre-piercing tips :

Make sure you eat before attending your appointment, this will help to prevent you feeling light headed or nauseous during the piercing process.
Do not drink alcohol, even a small amount can thin your blood and while most piercings don’t normally bleed they may do so after alcohol.
Try to wear clothing suitable for the piercing you are getting. If you are having you navel pierced, it is advisable to wear loose trousers. If it is your nipple you are having pierced, it is best to wear a loose top.
Try and have an idea of what piercing you want and what location you would like prior to your appointment.

Leaving the Studio after a piercing

You’ll be given an after-care form containing all the information you need to look after your piercing. If you have any further questions please get in touch, we always have friendly staff willing to help. Remember, there’s no such thing as a ‘silly question’.

What happens during the piercing?

While the piercing is being performed it is important that you lay or sit very still and keep your hands away from the area (keeping them at your sides is best). When complete, some piercings are covered with a dressing. This should be removed the following morning.

Are there age restrictions?

Yes, we apply a strict age limit of 16 years and over, however we will pierce 12 to 15 year olds if a parent is present.
If you think we might question your age then please bring photo ID or your parent or guardian with you.

Do I need an Appointment?

No, you can often just walk in however it helps us plan our day if you’re able to phone or book ahead.
A booking would certainly be to your advantage.
